Happy Place 03:56
Happy Place Sometimes this feeling, sometimes this feeling, sometimes this feeling lasts all day... Sometimes the conflict, creates confusion, life puts distractions in our way , That's when I'm searching for my happy place, just remember, when you fall from grace, sometimes it can be a long hard uphill climb.. Sometimes the thinking, sometimes the thinking, sometimes the thinking gets too deep.. Sometimes I'm tired, I get so tired, sometimes I just got to go to sleep, Let it take me, to my happy place Feel the comfort, of it's warm embrace, Find out all the ways your life could be! your happy place is safe and warm, just like the day that you were born. (instrumental) Nothing's straightforward, all lives are are different, .. your story's not the same as mine, Come on take me, to that happy place keep on searching for that happy place, keep on going strong within you mind.... Don’t fight it, that happy place just remember, when you fall from grace, sometimes it can be a long hard uphill climb. Your Happy Place is in your mind It's waiting there for you to find ....

Moving On 04:42
Moving On In a mean bus station on the edge of a highway people waiting round to be moving on, some are checking their tickets, or on the phone to their loved ones, me I’m starting out on another song..., what'm i gonna do with the rest of my life? I don't know, gotta get moving, where’m I gonna stay for the rest of my days I don't know? gotta keep moving on... gotta keep moving on The lights in the land of plenty fading into the distance starting out with a promise ending up with a life the road is ever before you the coloured rock in the mountains leading you on from the things you thought you knew what'm I gonna do with the problems I left when they find me? is this the way I can leave them all behind me? have I done moving on? ever done moving on? In the heat of the midday stopping off at some god-forsaken place someone gets off and sombody else gets on She's going up to Missoula going to pick up her grand kids, son's on meth and the mother’s already gone.. What they gonna do with the rest of their lives? she don't know got to keep moving, Nobody there to care that's why she's solo, just keep moving on... gotta keep moving on I used to be a D J, carried a box of records Made a good living playing the clubs and bars got shot at a couple of times, it wasn't about the music lucky drunks don't shoot straight, that's how I survived Heading out west gonna stay with my good old friends there nearly done moving, gonna stand on the edge watch the ocean defend its own space gotta keep moving on, gotta keep moving on.

about

I'm pleased to present my first complete record album of original songs at the age of 65.
This album was recorded over a period of 18 months or so at Dave Cave studio in Moruya, Australia.
The songs were written over a longer period, the oldest being more than 10 years ago. Some were reworked several times, others are just as they first came out.
The original plan was to do just a few demos, but I found the process of recording more than just little bit addictive.
Dave's production also influenced the songs, taking the ideas in new directions.
Nearly all the instruments played on these recordings were destroyed in the fire of New Years Eve 2019 at my home in Cadgee.
Fortunately these recordings were safe in Moruya. One song has been added since the fire and others finished off.
